FHS x James Gullen (Elite Professional Cyclist)

Fastest Highest Strongest has teamed up with James Gullen to offer Elite Training and Coaching.

James has been racing on the domestic scene as an Elite for the past 6 years competing in some of the biggest races around the UK. He holds the fastest ever 10mile Time Trial by a British rider at 17 minutes and 9 seconds. His palmares range from stage race wins to medals in the National Hill Climb Championships. James currently races for the longest serving domestic continental team JLT Condor and his 2016 results include 2nd in the British National Time Trial Championships and a stage win at the UCI registered stage race The AnPost RAS. With an extensive range of experience there is not much James has not turned his hand to. To add to the racing pedigree James has an A-Level in Physical Education and went on to study Sports Science and Technology (cycling specific) at the University of Central Lancashire, focusing on training physiology and biomechanics which provided him with in-depth knowledge into all aspects of cycling. The mixture of racing pedigree and sports related qualifications make James a highly qualified coach, not just to train athletes but to pass on his experience from having been there and done it at the highest level.

The programmes we are offering through this partnership are specifically designed for those at the sharp end of bike racing.

<22TT Programme
Prerequisites:
<22min 10TT or <58min 25TT

E1RR Programme
Prerequisites:
Elite or Cat. 1 Road Race Licence
Power Meter
Indoor Trainer
Min 12hrs/week training time

Included:
1:1 initial consultation
Fitness test for baseline data and to set training zones
Bespoke weekly training calendar
Training Peaks WKO+ analysis of performance by coach
Coach contact for advice and guidance
Optional 1:1 sessions
Periodic fitness testing to assess progress

£100/month (4 weeks) rolling programme (no contract)
